Competition for students: Threats and opportunities

science and defence competition for university undergrads

While university students are grumbling about remote lessons, a great opportunity has opened up from the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory who are hoping to find the best and brightest student minds across the UK.

Aimed at undergraduates, this competition is essay based and the top 5 finalists will be invited to present their essay to a panel of Government officials before awarding a £250 prize to the winner and certificates of commendation for the participants.

It is a great way to network, show your talent and get back into the practice of producing essays for journals.

So the question to answer is: What do you believe to be the future threats and opportunities facing the UK defence and security over the next 25 years?

If you think you have what it takes, get your ideas down and take a browse at the competition to make sure our entry is up to scratch before submission.

Good luck!
